After spending nearly 17 years in the corporate world, gaining valuable experience in organizational and leadership development, business operations, sales, and customer support, Caroline realized it was time to bring her expertise to a broader audience. She has established a track record for hiring top talent, identifying and grooming high potential employees, coaching new leaders, and helping experienced leaders take their game to the next level. Through Gratiam Development, Caroline brings her practical, balanced, and results-driven coaching style to professionals at all levels.

Prior to founding Gratiam Development, Caroline spent 9 years working at Medtronic Diabetes, the world's largest medical device company and market leading insulin pump manufacturer. In her last role with the company, she was responsible for three customer support teams, including over 300 employees, supervisors, and managers, and consistently delivered better than goal performance. During her time at Medtronic, she played a significant role on three projects that earned Medtronic's prestigious Star of Excellence award.

For 15 years, Caroline has worked in corporate training and development, with Medtronic, Frontier Dental Management, and Securitas. She is an expert at building training strategic plans, designing training scorecards to pinpoint ROI, instructional design, and social learning, a growing trend in talent development. In March 2013, Caroline was invited to speak at Chief Learning Officer Magazine's Symposium in Austin, TX on "Implementing a Social Learning Strategy."

Through her various roles Caroline gained 10 years of experience as a people leader and broad exposure to the ever-changing landscape of life within organizations today. She has managed multi-million dollar budgets, developed and managed pilot customer support teams, led strategic planning efforts, championed and led large cross-functional projects, worked on product launch teams, spearheaded change management initiatives, designed organizational learning strategies, developed and mentored talent across the organization, and created robust mechanisms for evaluating and reporting performance.    

In addition to being passionate about developing other people, Caroline is passionate about her own development. In 2005 Caroline earned a master’s degree in business administration (MBA), with an emphasis in international business, from Pepperdine’s Graziadio School of Business.  In 2010, she completed her master’s degree in communication, with an emphasis in organizational communication, from Pepperdine’s Seaver College. These degrees have helped support her own growth as a leader, by providing a well-rounded perspective on business management, leadership, and organizational development. 

Caroline lives in Southern Oregon with her husband Daniel, their dog Clifford, and their cat Mr. Snuggles.
